And so i woke up today at 6am to prepare my brother to go to school.
Then i decided to go running in the park opposite my house: The Jurong Lake Park.
And so i ran for 800m and reached the back entrance of the Chinese Garden.
I crossed the bridge over the waters and reached the lovely garden.
It's been a long time since i went there, since i was a little kid actually. Alot of reconstruction has been made. Plus, it's free to enter now.
And as i walked through the garden, it was as if i was in another world. Rock pavements, rock statues and boulders, bamboo forests, a serene lake, chinese pavilions on the lake, little birds chirping, jasmine trees and frangipanis, chinese characters carved on rocks, cute little rock tables and chairs everywhere, MOSQUITOES....etc. A perfect place for a wedding photo shoot.
And so i walked and walked deeper into the garden, singing songs and admiring nature...when i so happen to finally bring my head down to earth, a sight literally made my heart jump. 3 metres ahead, lazing upon the wooden pavement i was on was a 2 metres long Komodo dragon. I simply stood there and stared at the majestic creature. But i guess it sensed my presence, so it made it's way (almost painstakingly slow) towards the lake and disappeared. How nice.
Well, what a morning. I discovered a lovely place that was so near my house for relaxing, jogging and being away from the city and suburbs. A nice place for picnicing too.

Starring: Hamster Baby

I think something's wrong with Hamster Baby...he's been crawling very slowly on his tummy as if he has no strength...he's not injured, i checked him. His brother's been taking the chance to bite and bully him though...I'll observe somemore before i decide to seperate them.
Here's a footage of weak and loving Baby, and Lion bullying him.
