Psalm 38
2:21 pm
Psalm 38:1-10
Prayer of a Suffering Penitent.
LORD, rebuke me not in Your wrath,
And chasten me not in Your burning anger.
For Your arrows have sunk deep into me,
And Your hand has pressed down on me.
There is no soundness in my flesh because of Your indignation;
There is no health in my bones because of my sin.
For my iniquities are gone over my head;
As a heavy burden they weigh too much for me.
My wounds grow foul and fester
Because of my folly.
I am bent over and greatly bowed down;
I go mourning all day long.
For my loins are filled with burning,
And there is no soundness in my flesh.
I am benumbed and badly crushed;
I groan because of the agitation of my heart.
Lord, all my desire is before You;
And my sighing is not hidden from You.
My heart throbs, my strength fails me;
And the light of my eyes, even that has gone from me.

In the recent light of events, I regretfully confess, that I have not been honest with those whom I claim to be close to me. Of which, the one person whom I have lied to the most, other than my omniscient God, is myself. I may, to all who have heard me speak of my life with God, appear to be full of testimonies of how God has touched my life and guided me ever since I was 8 years old. Testimonies give hope to people who are experiencing the same situation, letting them know that God is ever faithful. Testimonies help you pull through your darkest times when the love of God seems absent from the present. But testimonies, are but past glory. You got to find new ones, and stop living in past glories...
The glory of God...how I yearn now to find it again, to once again see His light shining through my life... and feel the joy. The joy that only He, the ever gracious Father, can give His children...
I want not words of encouragement from my friends, but prayers. Praying, is like a petition, the more people the better.

My heart will trust in You
4:14 pm
You've taken away my closest friends,
and I've chased away my loved ones.
Let me rest in Your dwelling places O Lord,
for only there will I find peace for my soul...
You are my beam of hope, my freedom.
And though I walk through valleys low,
I'll fear no evil.
By the waters, still my soul.
My heart will trust in You, Lord.
My heart will trust in You.
Teach me your decrees, O Lord;
I will keep them to the end.
Give me understanding and I will obey your instructions;
I will put them into practice with all my heart.
Make me walk along the path of your commands,
for that is where my happiness is found.
Give me an eagerness for your laws
rather than a love for money!
Turn my eyes from worthless things,
and give me life through your word.
Reassure me of your promise,
made to those who fear you.
Help me abandon my shameful ways;
for your regulations are good.
I long to obey your commandments!
Renew my life with your goodness.

unhappiness with class
12:47 am
I miss my old classmates. And i still cant get over it nor get used to it.
It's not so much about the whole class, but the few people who makes my day by simply being there. I feel displaced, and misplaced. I feel lonely, and rejected. I cant fit in, and i dont want to fit in with this group of ppl i'm 'with'. I dont feel happy, and the whole idea of school is just depressing.
Gan, Orange, Sya, Daryl, Jerylin. These ppl make me enjoy school. I wish i could be back with them...i feel at ease with them...
Is it possible to appeal for change of class?

aww...geez...i love my hammies. They're soooo adorable. I can confirm that the white one is female and the grey one is male now, cos of the genitals. They're nearly young adults now. Not the mating season yet, but soon i guess. They're soooo sweet to each other. Though i did witness a couple of times when they squeal at each other over water. Just imagine 2 hamsters licking at the water bottle together. And i just saw something soooo sweet. The little house that i gave them was too squeezy for 2 hamsters to move around comfortably.
I was just observing both of em in the house. I heard some squeals from inside, although no movements. (hamsters talking?) Then Jersey (the male one) squeezed out of the house and went to lie under the wheel. Daisy poked her little nose out of the window and saw Jersey sleeping outside at the wheel. So she went to join him too. Ain't that sweet? That Jersey let Daisy have the house, but Daisy wanted to be with Jersey and so they slept outside together? =)
Aww...i love my hammies.

It's not a question about spiritual discipline anymore.
It's about my divine romance with God.
When you pursue Jesus, it becomes additive. You just want more of Him. He becomes your closest confidant.
He starts to move around with you wherever you go. You can hardly wait to be with Him.
It is not a question of discipline, you just want Him all the time.
You weep with Him, He weeps with you. You go deeper and deeper into divine intimacy.
Because no true romantic needs a handbook ---> lovers follow their heart.
Lovers do not always take the easy road.
Let adversity press you into intimacy with God...not the opposite.
Do not harden your heart...
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him" - 1 John 5:14-15
